Oral presentations should focus on a clear communication of the work.
The Auditorium will be equipped with computers with PowerPoint software and data projectors only.
A room will be available to upload the files the day before the presentation.
Because the conference will run in parallel sessions, chairpersons will strictly enforce time limits of the presentations as follows.
Oral presentations
- Platform presentations will be 15 minutes for presentation plus 5 minutes for discussion
- Short presentations will be 7 minutes for presentation plus 3 minutes for discussion
The conference organizers suggest that a maximum of two slides is used for “introduction” to allow most of the time to present the hypothesis, objectives and most innovative results and conclusions.
Speakers will be asked to send a short CV before the conference. They should also introduce themselves to the chair in the conference room 15 minutes prior to the start of the session.
Poster pitch:
- Poster presentations will be 2 minutes.
In this session the time control is especially relevant. Not more than 4 slides should be presented, starting directly with the work objectives without any introduction.
